Modeling is something I never thought I could do or be good at, I always thought that I was to short, to chubby or not pretty enough until now.
It all started when a few of us fashion students were given an assignment to do over the summer, which is a sample development project based on British design, paying particular attention to haute couture.
Finding out this got out creative minds flowing with inspiration so we decided to do a haute couture inspired photo-shoot.
Jess,who was the photographer and the make-up artist for this shoot, came up with the original concept. She wanted me to be the model, at first I was unsure as I had never done anything like that before, but when my make-up and hair was done, I really started to let go.
The hair and styling for the shoot was done by Kulli, who is another of my fellow fashion students . Styling is something that she is passionate about, so this was a great opportunity to showcase this passion.
The shoot, was an amazing experience, I really enjoyed every minute of it. It gave me the confidence boost that I needed as well. It also made me realized that modelling is something that I really love doing, and something that I am actually quite good at.
